If the client requests anaesthetic, it can be topical, injectable or a dental nerve block and the choice depends on the client. Instead of needles, we use a cannula, a new type of device that has a rounded tip and allows precise placement of product.
WHY ARE CANNULAS USED?

HOW MUCH DOWNTIME SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER THE PROCEDURE?
Little or no downtime is required. A patient may experience mild swelling, soreness and bruising on the lips immediately after the treatment, especially during the first 24 to 48 hours. Some patients have no discomfort and return to their normal routine immediately after the procedure. Most patients prefer to take a few days to allow their lips to recover and for the swelling and bruising to subside. ARE THERE ANY RISKS INVOLVED?
