The Post Graduate Diploma of Aesthetics and Cosmetic Injecting is aimed at qualified professionals who work in the medical or dental industry and are expanding their knowledge base, or who are appending knowledge of the cosmetic industry to their practice.

Learning Objectives:
- To develop and enhance your skills in facial assessment and diagnosis integrating the current product range available to cosmetic injectors.
- To provide practical skills in facial assessment and cosmetic injecting.
- To develop a higher skill level of cosmetic injecting and reduce the risk of complications and negative outcomes.
- Analyze and review complex and difficult cases that require further referral providing maximum benefit to the patient and reducing risk for further complications.
- To enable you to critically assess research literature and professional articles to keep up to date with advances in the field of cosmetic injecting and provide a good foundation for continued professional development.
- To create consistency and competency through the industry and assist in developing a uniform level of skill and ability for practitioners.
Assessments:
3 multiple choice and short answer question examinations, via our online learning portal. A pass mark for competence is 50%. One-on-One coaching sessions are also assessed for quality of treatment records, assessment skills and treatment planning rationale.
2)Short courses 8.15-5pm
3 short courses, if all are completed you will qualify for the Graduate Diploma Qualification ($500 registration fee applies to all Diplomas issued outside of 24 month time frame).

Rebecca Altomonte is a cosmetic injector with substantial experience. RN BN Grad.Dip.Ed
She earned her Bachelor of Nursing in 1999 at UTS Sydney and then went on to complete her Graduate Diploma in Educational Studies.
Rebecca has over 15years experience in the Medical Aesthetic Industry and is widely regarded for her advanced skills in non-surgical cosmetic procedures and anti-ageing therapies. She is a strong advocate against over treatment and consistently achieves natural looking results for her clients. As a clinical educator trusted to train doctors at Galderma, Rebecca’s name is one you can trust when it comes to your educational needs and your face’s appearance.
As founder of the Facial Aesthetic Centre of Excellence (FACE) and FACE TRAINING, Rebecca in consultation with the relevant industry regulators, has developed Australia’s only Post Graduate Diploma Accredited course in Aesthetics And Cosmetic Injecting.
Certification and Qualifications
The courses at FACE offer the necessary level of qualification required by Australian law in order to legitimately practice on paying clients. The Bachelor degree level qualification is the basis for learning. The short courses at FACE act as units towards the internationally recognised Graduate Diploma.
These certificates are your proof of attendance/assessment and will be required for indemnity insurance and they also provide reassurance to your patients.
