As an all-female team, FACE by Rebecca identified a much-needed gap in our clinical offerings and knew it was time to add the expertise of a female doctor who is dedicated to helping women in midlife and beyond.
Dr Bonnie is a highly experienced General Practitioner with over 25 years of medical experience and a special interest in Women’s Health, Midlife Medicine, and Medical Aesthetics.
Dr Bonnie prides herself on creating judgement-free care to support women, manage symptoms, regain balance and feel confident again. As a mother of two who is navigating menopause herself, she understands first-hand the physical and emotional changes many women experience, and brings both clinical expertise and genuine empathy to every consultation.
At the heart of Dr Bonnie’s consultations is a holistic approach to women’s health. She believes it should be personal, compassionate and tailored to the individual, supporting overall wellbeing, health goals, and confidence.
Whether you’re managing hormonal transition, menopause, weight management, or mood and mental health, Dr Bonnie’s goal is always the same: to help every patient feel healthy, confident, and supported.
Weight changes throughout different stages of life, especially during perimenopause and menopause, are very common. It can be frustrating when your body starts to feel different even though your habits haven’t changed. Hormonal shifts, changes in metabolism, reduced muscle mass, poor sleep, and increased stress can all play a role — it’s not just diet and exercise.
Dr Bonnie takes a personalised, evidence-based approach to medical weight management, taking the time to understand what may be contributing to your weight changes and working with you to create a plan that feels realistic and supportive. This may include:
The focus isn’t just on weight loss — it’s on helping you feel stronger, healthier, and more in control, while supporting your metabolic health, energy, and confidence.
Throughout midlife, changes can be evident in the skin due to hormonal shifts, including declining oestrogen levels which influence collagen production, hydration and skin structure. Many women experience changes in firmness, texture, dryness, sensitivity and overall skin quality during this stage of life — and this isn’t just facial skin changes, which can be especially frustrating if you’re experiencing adult hormonal acne, often a flare-up of rosacea or flushing.
Dr Bonnie supports women in understanding the changes that can occur throughout midlife, and provides personalised skin solutions. She offers advanced cosmetic treatments and evidence-based skincare to support your individual goals — combining her women’s health knowledge with her skin expertise to ensure you feel cared for.
Changes to intimate health can be very common in perimenopause and menopause, yet often unspoken about, or dismissed as a normal part of ageing. As oestrogen levels naturally decline, some women may experience changes to the vulval and vaginal tissues, including dryness, itching, sensitivity, discomfort during intercourse and a change in libido.
Dr Bonnie provides a supportive and confidential environment to open the conversation around intimate health and vaginal wellness, sharing the range of medical and advanced cosmetic wellness options that may help relieve symptoms.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Menopause Replacement Therapy (HRT)?
Dr Bonnie offers personalised Menopause Replacement Therapy (HRT) solutions. HRT is a safe and effective treatment that helps manage symptoms of perimenopause and menopause, such as hot flushes, mood change, sleep, vaginal dryness and more.
When prescribed and monitored properly, HRT is very safe for most women. Dr Bonnie conducts a thorough 1:1 consultation reviewing your medical history and risk factors before recommending the best option for you.
Is there a medicare rebate?
Yes, medicare rebate applies to Women’s Health Consultations, perimenopause and menopause consultations. Some services, such as medical Aesthetics or certain extended wellness appointments, may not be covered.
At what age should I see a doctor about my perimenopause or menopause symptoms?
There isn’t a “right” age to seek advice. While most women begin experiencing perimenopause in their 40s, it can start as early as the mid-30s.
If you’re experiencing symptoms it’s worth booking an appointment with us regardless of your age. Early assessment can provide clarity, support, and personalised treatment options.
Do I need to see my General Practitioner if I work with you?
Not at all. Dr Bonnie will work with your usual GP, collaborating where needed. Dr Bonnie’s role is to provide specialist-led support in midlife and hormonal health.
